Outdoor protective equipment comes in many forms. Some options are designed for comfort, while others focus on enhancing your home's security. At Clôture Discount, you'll find a wide selection of fence posts and braces to suit your needs. Made from high-quality materials, our products help ensure your fencing and security systems are both reliable and durable.

How to Choose the Right Fence Post?

Did you know? Posts for flexible mesh fencing are different from those used for rigid fence panels. Unlike our slotted posts designed for rigid panels, flexible mesh fencing has its own requirements. The T-post is made specifically for roll fencing like chain link or welded wire mesh. Its T-shaped design provides extra strength and long-lasting durability.
To determine the correct post height, add 20 inches to your fence height. This extra length will be set into the ground during installation.
T-posts come in various sizes: T30, T35, T40, and so on. The number refers to the width of the post. A wider post, like the T40, offers greater strength for your fence.
For bracing, the strut should be the same length as the post itself.

How to Install Your Fence Post?

Districlos, your fencing and post specialist, offers expert advice. Installation is straightforward thanks to pre-drilled holes. For added stability, use braces to support the T-post. We recommend spacing posts every 6.5 feet, but you can install them every 5 feet for extra strength—especially in areas exposed to strong winds.
To install a brace, position it at about a 45-degree angle between the ground and the post. Attach it roughly one-third of the way up the post. For optimal support, place a brace every 80 feet. Installation is simple: dig holes approximately 8 inches wide and 12 inches deep. Set the T-post in place and secure it with concrete. Braces can be driven directly into the ground—no concrete needed. Check alignment and repeat for each post.
