Standard rigid fencing isn't suitable for pools. Horizontal wires can make them easy for children to climb. Note: Installing a non-compliant fence could result in a fine of up to 45,000 euros.

If you're handy, you can install the fence yourself. Be sure to follow a few key rules to stay compliant. Safety fences should be installed at least one meter from the pool or water feature, allowing adults to walk around the entire perimeter. Make sure posts and panels are securely anchored to withstand at least 50 kg of force. Gates must have two locking systems so that children under five cannot open them. We recommend adding a magnetic child safety lock.
