If your fence is already installed, measure its height as well. Our gates range from 1.20 m to 2.00 m high, so you’re sure to find one that fits your fence.

Which installation method for a garden gate?

The most common installation method is in-ground mounting. It’s simple and sturdy, and even those with limited DIY experience can handle it. Dig holes about 12" x 12" and 16" deep. Fill with concrete, center the gate posts in the holes, and check for level. Once everything is straight, brace the posts while the concrete sets. Finally, install the lock using the supplied hardware.

What are the regulations for installing a garden gate?

The main rule is to avoid encroaching on public property. If you don’t have enough space for an inward-opening swing gate, consider a sliding gate instead.
