At Districlos, you can choose between two types of base panels.
The main difference is the height: 0.25 m or 0.50 m. Select the size that best fits your property’s needs. Both options are made from concrete and come in either stone or gray concrete finishes, so you can pick the look that matches your style.
Our base panels are designed to fit our pro fence posts for rigid mesh fencing. They can be installed on uneven or sloped ground without issue.
A base panel is an important part of a fence. While not required unless you live near a waterway, it helps prevent pets or wild animals from getting under your fence and onto your property.
Another benefit is easier lawn maintenance under the fence, giving your rigid fence a cleaner finish.
Investing in a base panel is a long-term solution that can add value to your home. Did you know? Our base panels feature a half-cap for added strength and a more refined appearance.
Don’t worry if you want to add base panels. Even though they’re heavy, installation is straightforward.
As with any rigid fence installation, start by marking your property line and digging holes for the posts—about 40 cm wide and 50 cm deep. Set the post and make sure it matches the height of your mesh panel plus the base panel. Finally, slide the base panel into the slot on the post, with the cap facing up and outward. Always check for level before finishing.
